Question about Nintendo NES Console
What is wrong with a nintendo console when it constantly tuns on and off with the power on?
The power light was going on and off without a game inserted. I reinserted the game and now it is OK. Thanks to the above solutions. They got me thinking:-))

The console is having trouble reading the game.
Try to clean the metal contacts of the game cartridge.
To do this, wipe the contacts of the game cartridge with a Q-Tip or cloth (preferably wet with a cleaning solution or rubbing alcohol).
Allow the contacts to dry, then reinsert the game and enjoy.
Note: You may need to clean it a few times before the game works well.
If this doesn't help, then the contacts inside the console are either dirty or need to be replaced.
