Question about Apple Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger for Mac

When I try to copy a movie of 80 gb to an external hard disk (Maxtor One touch 4 mini) it takes 40 hours and when finish I cannot see it. What can I do?

Try doing it in parts instead of all together, like drag 10% at a time to the harddrive

Maxtor 80gb hard disk not dtecting


You might want to try downloading this fix from Microsoft. http://support.microsoft.com/KB/908673, as your first line of attack.  The problem seems to be within your usb 2.0 hub on your computer.  See if this helps.

External disk drive full when i try a operator initiated backup


Before runnning the backup please go ahead and run the check disk once..
chkdsk /f/r use this command on the command prompt
