This is the most ultimate and disasterous problem known to sansa users (me)

This problem is a mix of these following -wheel lights up but not screen -freezes -and........once it gets in this stage it cannot be able to load up music and the computer cannot read the sansa and will not show up on computer now heres the problem many people have run into the problem about the wheel lighting up but not the screen and they have solved it by turning it off (holding on button 30 sec) but.... this time if the sansa won't be fixed after u restart it well... u got yurself a master problem..... oh! and don gimme that lame ass idea about leaving the sansa runing and on and on.....because it won't be fixed after u recharge it..... i guess thats all the problems....... oh well ummm the last resort to do is to return your sansa DO NOT!! I REPEAT DO NOT!!!!!! return your sansa in your first thought thank you for listening METALLICA RULEZ!!!!!! it froze ive tried charging it didnt work ive tried to on it didnt work the longest ive tried to on is 3 mins but yah and i dont want to return it

How do you make the scroll wheel turn again?

Your wheel may be stuck because dirt has worked its way into the wheel.
I have 3 ideas--
1) Get a can of computer duster, and try blowing the dirt out from around the wheel, outside and inside edge.

2) Sansa Fuze user 'tenzip' suggests dipping the player, while turned off, in DISTILLED water, if you believe the wheel has something sticky and water-soluble-- THEN let it drain, THEN put the player in a bag of uncooked rice for up to a week. The rice will pull the rest of the water out of the player.
Full discussion may be found here;

3) If 1) and 2) fail, you may want to try opening the player, disassembling and cleaning it, and then putting it back together. Directions with pictures can be found here;

Song tracks are mixed up on My Sansa Fuse.

What you should do is open the music in windows media player and check the tags and make sure that are all the same. Because SanDisk Organizes by those tags (ie: Artist, album)
