Question about Emerson EWD2203 DVD Player/VCR
In order of picture quality:
Best way is with an HDMI cable if they have that but seeing as that seems to not be HD it probably won't.
Second would be to use component if it has that. That where the picture has 3 cables and then you have the 2 audio cables. They use RCA connectors.
Third would be S-VHS for picture. This looks different than the others, the input will look round with a bunch of holes for the pins of the cable. Again, use the 2 audio cables.
Last, which may be the only thing that dvd/vhs has is use composite video cables. This is where you have one video cable and the 2 audio cables. They are color coded, yellow is picture and the 2 audios are red and white for R and L. If you don't have a cable for that, this is what you need:
Now if both decks don't have the same connectors you can get cables with different connectors on each end. You can find them at the same place as the above link.
Once you determine what cable you need you pretty much just need to connect them based on the color coding of the cables and inputs on the components.
