Question about HP Scanjet G4050 Flatbed Scanner
Where is DPE?
I guessed and picked the Adobe Acrobat Professional.app
Now when I scan to a .pdf file, Adobe Acrobat starts.... I tried to uninstall and reinstall and still the same.. How can I fix it?
Actually, you don't need to uninstall everything. The setting is stored in
If you move that file out of the way, the next time you try to scan to a PDF it'll ask you "Where is DPE" again and you can pick the right place. Worked for me just now anywa.

Try printing then scanning the PDF.
(Or spend the money to install Adobe Acrobat -- and I do not mean just the READER program)
I have no clue about your "error message displayed is saying that the documents contain renderable files."
