Your product type for your super nintendo would be "game consol" if you are contacting Nintendo of America and are having issues with a game your product type would be "game" or cartridge". Unless I totally missunderstood what you were asking

Red light dims on Super Nintendo

I do not think on that the red power light could burn out on an SNES console but you never know.
  1. ake sure you are using a licensed AC Adapter (the system's power cord). The name "Nintendo" should be molded into the actual AC Adapter unit. If it says "for use with Nintendo" it may be an unlicensed product Unlicensed products are not fully compatible with Nintendo systems and may not work correctly.
  2. Make sure you are not using any game enhancing devices. Such devices are unlicensed and are not recommended by Nintendo, as they may not let your system function properly.
  3. Firmly plug the AC Adapter into the AC Adapter port on the back of the Control Deck and firmly plug the AC Adapter into the wall outlet.
  4. Make sure your wall outlet works. To check it, try plugging a lamp into the same outlet where your system was plugged in. Turn the lamp on the verify the outlet works. Also, make sure you are not using an outlet that is operated from a wall switch (if you do, make sure the wall switch is in the ON position).
  5. Slide the Power Switch on the Control Deck to the ON position.
  6. Check to ensure that the AC Adapter is not damaged (i.e., the dog chewed the cable). If it is damaged, you may want to purchase a replacement AC Adapter.
What to do if Troubleshooting doesn't help
Due to the age of the system, we no longer offer factory repairs directly from Nintendo. Please click here to find out what options are available for repair or replacement of your product. If you simply need to order parts or accessories, you may want to check out our Online Store. Nintendo's Online Store still carries many parts and accessories for our older products.

How do I fix nintendo super nes console that resets during gameplay?

Well I think that the ac adapter is causing the type of a problem because the cord on the ac adapter that allows the SNES to give it its power in order to work is loose. Try using another ac adapter too see if it will make a difference.

Snes picture glitches

Try using an offical super nintendo ac adapter for ensured quality then. Those 3 way adapters are really unreaiable. trust me had had a problem with my normal NES when I used a 3 way adapter. So always use genuine Nintendo products then.9k=

How do i get my super nintendo off black and white after using super game boy?

General Game Pak Troubleshooting (NES and Super NES)
Note: It is possible that the problem you have may be game play related. For example, if you cannot defeat a particular enemy, or are missing an item you need to complete an area, the problem is likely game play related and there is nothing wrong with your game. Please check our game play help for assistance.
If the problem you are experiencing is with just one game, please follow the steps below. If the problem is with all games, please visit the troubleshooting section for the system you have, by clicking here.

Check for Unlicensed products. Make sure that you're using only licensed products with your Nintendo system. Unlicensed products are not tested for compatibilty and may not work correctly with all games. Try playing the game without the unlicensed accessory.
Insert the Game Pak into the system. The Game Pak label should be facing the front of the machine (or facing up if you are using an original NES).
Make sure the Game Pak firmly clicks down into place.
Remove all accessories to see if the Game Pak works correctly without the accessory. If the game does work correctly once the accessory is removed, then the game pak and the accessory may not be compatible. Check the game pak instruction manual.
Check the instruction manual for the game to see if it requires any special accessories to operate (such as the Super Scope, NES Zapper, SNES Mouse, etc.).
Do not blow into your Game Paks or systems. The moisture in your breath can corrode and contaminate the pin connectors.
If these steps do not eliminate the symptoms you're experiencing with your game, we recommend purchasing a replacement from a retailer or online auction site that carries older products. For more information, click here.
Well it might be a problem with the graphics chip inside of the console

My nintendo nes co nsole is all hooked up right but power light keeps blinking

Well it sounds like the fuse is broken and needs to be replaced then 1.5 amp ico fuse for the Super Nintendo console I think that kijijiji and eBay sell these fuse types for SNES consoles the fuse will have to be soldered on and solder the old one off first too. If you don't fell comfortable with fixing it find a place that fixes old consoles or find some one that can fix it for you or just buy a new console
