Info faded on info sticker...please help?

Hi, we are having trouble working out what model our air con is, its a Carrier, but the blue sticker with the model number and all other info is faded off. the only legible thing on there is a small number, 32D0021-0, printed on the right hand side at the bottom. is there any other place the number would be located? cos we cant order parts without knowing :(

One place to look is in side the control cover, one part of the cover will come off to access the controls. It should have a diagram that may also have these numbers on it. Also the top of the compressor will have numbers that will help a good HVAC parts man find what you need.

Carrier air con. expansion valve 5 problems and 5 solutions

1. Mid to late 90's problems on Carrier coils leaking. 2. Problem with lication of TXV's on air handlers. When welded in they were located to close to the fitting where the suction lines were welded in to unit. The heat would cause them to fail.

Hi can someone help with my air con its not blowing cold air but everything else is working fine and the remote even says 16c on it

Hi, Carrier is a well made a/c. If its a window model, and you say all seems to be working good, you need to have someone go outside and see if they can hear the compressor come on when you turn it on. More then likely, its not coming on and you will need a tech to come out and look. You will hear it come on when you lower the temp. It could also be the capacitor. Turn it off for 1/2 an hour, let some body go out and listen when you turn it on. It will be kind of a jolting like humming noise. If it doesn't come on, you will have to have it checked out. I hope this has been of some help. Sincerely, Shastalaker7
PS Please let me no and we can go from there.

I am looking for specs, specifically the RLA, on a Carrier Model 48LH006600(?)-- not sure about model #, nameplate data is totally faded!

It will tell you on the metal plate on top of the compressor, or sticker what the R.L.A.are and the L.R.A's are. If you cant read them, try and get what information you can from the compressor, like the name, Tecumseh, Copeland scroll, ect, The 48 would be the tonnage, 4 ton, or 60 a 5 ton unit. You should have enough of the model number for a air conditioning wholesale parts house to tell you this. we deal with this in the field daily.
Good Luck, Shastalaker7 I hope this helps you.

Model number for Carrier furnace with issue for blower 5 minute off delay

I believe that this model number is for an air conditioner evaporator coil. This unit is probably directly attached to your furnace. The Model number for the furnace will be located in the compartment where the flames can be seen. It will be on a sticker or plate that contains lots of other information too like BTU/h, Volts etc...

The number you gave me gives me this info:
Cased air conditioning evaporator coil.
3 Tons
Horizontal application
