Power cutting is common protection for amps if they are over heating.
dust maybe causing the cooler fan to stick try compressed air or vacuum cleaner in the fan grill to blow/**** out any dust that might be blocking.

suspect that cooller fan is defective and need replacement.

Diplomat Gas Oven cuts off after few mins

The oven is probably overheating and shutting itself off to prevent damage/fire. If the cooling fan isn't running. Check/replace the thermostat that switches the cooling fan on.

How do you check a fan motor

You need to check the volts at the motor while it's running, to make sure some safety is not shutting it off. Then check the amps on the motor while it's running. Also you need to check your capacitor and wiring.

Had my c1630n for years and suddenly lately i have had it just turn off on me at different times. There are no errors showing in event viewer each time it does it. Sometimes it runs all day the shuts down...

Check the CPU fan's Heat sink whether it heats up such that you are unable to touch at the time of automatic shut down. If it is so then remove the fan and apply some Heat Sink Compound between the fan and processor, reattach the fan.

Thermostat keeps cutting power off to elba excellance oven

I have a similar problem with an Indesit oven. There are two thermostats one controlling the oven temperature which i think you have replaced and another over-temperature stat to prevent the oven getting to hot should the temp stat fail to control the temperature. The over- temperature stat could be operating to quickly and this cuts power to the the digital display, oven light, temp light and circulating fan. I am going to replace this over-temp stat

My computer cuts on but fan is going very fast and my monitor will not cut on if i turn it off i have tried hooking monitor to another computer it works fine. i have a compaq presario sr1703wm

Need a little more info please. First do you mean the computer stops working and the power supply fan is loud or is it the processor fan. Because if its the cpu fan then the processor maybe over heating. Make sure that the processor heatsink is on correctly and if needed put some thermal grease to help disapate the heat of the processor to the heat sink. Two possible faults cpu has overheat or is faulty or sensor on the system board is sensing the wrong temp and is shutting the system down. Both tyhese faults need parts hard to tell the difference without spare cpu.

My reciever continues to give me problems after 45 min of usage. after that point it starts to shut down certain channels. Help.

heat is the problem but the reason for the heat is the fan inside the unit is not working. I didn't even know there was a fan inside until I opened mine. The fan looked brand new The voltage off of the board where it hooks up is not correct or something so I hooked up the black to the middle pin where it hooks up and the red I cut and put under a screw(Grounded) the yellow is cut off. Mine works now and the speaker has not cut off since. I have left it on for hours and no more speakers cutting out. The fan is actually very quiet. but you can hear it.if it doesn't work make it so you will not overheat. Remember the fan plug the middle wire should be black the yellow can be cut away and the red needs to be stripped enough to go under a screw. I put mine under one of the screws that hold the fan in place. The front does need to be kinda removed so be careful not to break anything. and don't lose any screws. put it back together the way it came apart the front was not totally removed just enough to get to the fan screws. Its a little work but its worth it unplug your receiver before you go inside to avoid shock.

Fan cutting on and off every 5 mins

The only thing that is going to but the fan off is the thermostat. When the fan stops, immediately check the thermostat on the wall. See is there is power between the B terminal and the GH terminal. If none, then replace the thermostat. If there is, then replace the control board in the AC. That means that the fan relay on the printed circuit board is weak.
