You are going to have to hook the unit back up to itunes and restore the unit. Restoreing itouch does take a while so you have to be patient when letting it restore. You will most likely have data lose, but if everything is saved on itunes you should be good. If you have any further questions feel free to contact www.wiredextreme.com

Ipod nano 4gb will not connect to my pc

I found the solution to this problem:

To get your iPod Nano 3rd Generation (4GB video) to be recognized by your computer, you will need to manually get it into "Disk Mode" here's how:
  1. Verify that it has a full charge, if not, you need to either charge the iPod before continuing or connect it to a high-powered USB port, or simply connect it to the Power Adapter that plugs into an electrical outlet. (just not connected to your computer)
  2. Toggle the Hold switch on and off once. (Set it to Hold, and then turn it off again. Just slide back and forth.)
  3. Press and hold the Menu and Select (center) buttons at the same time for at least 6 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the Menu and Select (center) buttons and immediately press and hold the Select (center) and the Play/Pause buttons until the ‘Disk Mode’ screen appears.
  5. Disconnect your iPod from the power adapter and connect it to your computer;
  6. Now the screen on the iPod will change and say "Do not disconnect" and should be recognized by your computer.
I hope this helps you; I had a hard time finding a solution and thought I'd share the wealth once my stress was relieved.

Ipod nano 4gb won't work

Hi!

To return it to its normal operating state, you will have to reset iPod.

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Hope I could help you.

Transfer of music on Computer to 4GB MP3

make sure you disconect the ipod properly from the computer by clicking the little eject button down the right hand side of the screen. the ipod has to finalise the music onto there before being discomected. other wise, nothing goes on there. if this does not work, go and replace it from the same shop you brought it from
