Question about Kodak EasyShare DX4350 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Somehow my memory card was ejected from my camera without my being aware of the problem and when I ewantd to make a copy of the pictures all I have is the internal memory on the camera itself My attempts at transferring to my computer have not been succesful and I am wondering how I may obtain at least a copy of the pictures. I do not have a unit which the camera docks to. Are my pictures lost or is their a way to get them into the computer. I have the wire connector from the camera to the USB port but each time I try and use it it shuts down my computer!!!!

If you're saying the card was not in the camera when you were taking pictures, then the only pics you have are the ones on your camera's internal memory which won't be very many since it is very small. You could take your camera and cord to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture maker machine. It will show your pictures and you can print them or even make a cd of them.

I am trying to copy pictures FROM my computer TO my camera

Use a card reader. Despite the name, a card reader also lets you write to the card. The camera should have the ability to copy a picture from a card to internal memory as well as the other way around. Since you didn't specify the make and model of your camera, I can't give you specific instructions.

Be aware that if you've done any editing on the pictures, there's a good chance your camera will decline to show you the picture.

How do i transfer pictures from my computer to my vivicam 8025 camera?

You'll need to use a card reader. Once your memory card is in the reader, it will appear to your computer as another hard drive. Simply copy the desired pictures from your computer to the memory card.
Be aware that if you've done any editing on the pictures (opening a picture in a photo editor and saving it without doing any changes counts as editing) then the camera probably will not be able to display the picture.

Lost Pics

Plug the memory card into a card reader, and copy the files from the computer back to the memory card, in the same folder as where the camera stores them.
