Question about Acer Computers & Internet
Thanks. The Fn F7 idea did not work, the Enable/Disable toggle in Control Panel made no difference BUT the simple pressing of the TINY finger pointing next to the power button DID work. Duh!

The touchpad might be disabled this happended to mine not to long ago. There is a button right next to the power button with a picture of a finger pointing press that and the touchpad is now enabled. Fn+F7 sometimes work on differernt models on Acer aspire 5532 doesnt work

Thank you so much i see the button that shows the finger pointing and I remember I pressed it early today to see what it does. I didnt get any response, 3 hrs later I realized my touchpad wasn't working so I reinstalled the driver and tried fn +f7, nothing worked. Thanks so much for this post!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the driver is missing or has become corrupted.
try a new mouse with the enclosed software.
