Question about Saeco Gran Crema 2-Cup Espresso Machine - Black

1 Answer

The machine lost it's prine and now we can't seem to get it to take a prime. We've tried several times and it won't take anymore water but when we attempt to make a cup, it won't push any water through. We tried turning it upside down, and while upside down, it would push water through the filter, but then when we turned it right side up, it wouldn't work again.

For that one you might have to take the water hose that leads into the pump fill it with water and hold it up while running the hot water cycle to prime the pump.

Won't prime

The water pump system is not primed properly. Remove the water tank while the pump is running and put back a couple of times. If not working, when the power is off, using a straw, blow air through and try to **** through the water port at the bottom of Keurig. Plug the water tank again in and start the system. It will take some time to prime, keep trying. There is nothing wrong with the machine, but the water pump circuit.

Airless sprayer will not prime Model AL230502LX

Check for a plunger on the bottom of the machine. Pump it several times and try to prime with water. Also, if there is difficulty priming after trying the plunger, switch on in prime, and cycle to paint, back to prime, paint, prime. After several tries, leave it in prime with the pickup tube in water, and pump the plunger again. If this doesn't help, disconnect the hose fron the pump and try again. If you're getting water now, the issue is down the hose, or at the roller/gun.
Hope this helps! --W/D--

Baby gaggia wont pump

The pump may only have lost its prime. To prime the pump:

Fill an ear syringe (available at most pharmacies) with water. Insert the business end of the syringe securely in the tube that normally takes up water from the reservoir. As you squeeze the syringe bulb, flip the brew switch on. If you see movement of water in the tube, and hear a change in the sound the pump is making, flip the brew switch off, remove the syringe, and put the tube back in the filled reservoir. Now flip the brew switch on, and see if the pump can draw water on its own. Repeat several times if necessary. If the pump still won't pull water, then it must be replaced.
