Question about Samsung CLP-510 Laser Printer

Samsung CLP-510 Toner Bleed

The unit prints just fine, no problems except for a yellow band on the left side of the paper (obviously from the yellow toner bleeding onto the paper when it prints). Plus I'm replacing the yellow toner just a few weeks later after replacing the black toner. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Same here. I had the yellow stripe. Cleaned up the yellow toner. Now I have a magenta stripe. Tried to clean it up also on the cartridge, but red is more of a problem than yellow. Wondering why all this bleeding and what can I do to prevent it.

I utilize a Samsung CLP-510 printer which presently has a yellow toner that needs to be replaced per the menu screen on the unit. I believe the drivers are installed correctly, however, I cannot print from...

You need to replace the yellow toner. There maybe a option in the menu of the machine for "toner out" and it maybe on stop if you change it to continue it could work for a while. "If the printer has that option". Most color printers will not continue to print if one of the cartriges are empty.

Noisy operation and black marks on left side of printed paper

vacuum out the waste toner passages that lead from the drum and transfer belt to the waste toner container. Toner is building up inside the transfer belt and/or drum and has no place to go except onto your paper.

Ink issues Samsung CLP-510

Some paper tints can cause problems with color images, so make sure that you're using plain white paper, not another color such as beige, yellow, or blue. Even an off-white shade can affect your colors.

In addition, paper type can slightly influence your ink color. Highly absorbent papers can draw in the ink so quickly that the printed image may seem dull or a little washed out. If this is the case, try a coated paper that is specifically intended for color printing. If you're printing those important family vacation photos, use a good-quality glossy paper.

If your colors are way off, you may be running out of one or more ink colors. For example, blue and yellow are mixed to make green, so if your grass seems blue rather than green, you may be running out of yellow. Check your ink cartridges and replace any that are low or exhausted.

Thank you, & post back if you still need assistance.

I've also seen this sort of thing caused by a crusty build-up of toner on a wiiper blade on the Transfer Belt, and or Drum.
