Allot depends on your DVD player and WII. Since the TV is a color one unless the movie your watching on the DVD player is B/W it will play in color, same with the WII. If your DVD player supports HDMI then select one of the HDMI ports on the TV (there are 3) same for the WII depending on what outputs it supports select one of the corresponding inputs on your TV. The user manual shows several options for various components and should be of some assistance in your connections.

How do I plug in more then one units i.e Wii, DVD player, ect.? I have read the manual and hooked them up that way but dont have any color when I hook up to component input 1 or 2. What am i doing wrong...

You cannot get color when connecting a composite cable to a component input. Unfortunately you will have to connect the Wii to the composite input when you want to use the Wii and then disconnect it and connect the DVD player to the composite input when you want to use it and etc.

2nd set of a/v jacks doesn't seem to work

I have a Dynex 32 lcd, I am not positive buy I think one of the A/V jacks is input, and the other is output. To be sure turn the
TV so you can see the side clearly. There will be writing on the side of the TV that should explain which connections are what. i.e. input, output etc...

DVD Hookup

The input buttons on the remote are shared, e.g. for component, press once for component1 and twice for component2. Same for HDMI inputs. If I remember correctly, the video button is shared by the composite input and the svideo input.

Or you can use the input button on the remote to get each input directly.

Please check what the DVD player is configured for. For 480p (PS) it can only output through component.

Color

1 try the video cord on other tv's if it works in color then it is the video jack on that tv. A quick fix might be running it through a box that goes into the cable hook up not the inputs. boxes are pretty cheap like 10 to 20 bucks

I assume you are saying that the DVD player only has RCA jacks. It would be good to know if the DVD player has Component output as that is the preferred output. You will know this if the RCA jacks on the DVD are color coded green, blue and red.... You would by a set of component cables, hook to DVD matching colors and then find the same color code on input of the TV. You must also run the red and white cable from the DVD output to the TV input for audio. The input on the TV would be labled component in or input and a #. Simply select the input, or source button on remote to select the input that matches your choice and all should function. If there is no component on the DVD output and only a composit hook up (color code by yellow, red, white) again just match that to the corresponding input on the TV.
