Question about Western Digital Caviar SE WD2000JS 200 GB Hard Drive
It seems that the hard-drive is "dying", and that the "root" of the file-directory on the disk-drive is "corrupt".
Look online for a "File Scavenger" program -- it reads a disk-drive, sector-by-sector, hoping to "stitch-and-sew" together sectors into files, so that you can "recover" files, and copy them to your 'C:' drive.
Yes, it sucks that your warranty has expired.
Does your credit-card company "double" the warranty for items purchased on your credit-card?
