Viore is a generic of Samsung brand TV's. Try using their list of codes, the code for mine was 0085. Hope it helps 8-)

You probably have found by now that there is no code for the Viore since that company didn't exist when our Dish remotes were made. Dish should have insisted the remotes be designed to be upgradeable. Since I have seen various messages that (maybe incorrectly) claim that Akai is involved in their manufacture, you might try any codes listed for them.

Hi there! this is Kimberly Escobar with Dish Network Customer support, I just ran across your post and would like to help you out by providing you the information that can help get this issue resolved. To program the remote to your Viore T.V you can try code 738. What you would need to do is press and hold the clear T.V button located on the upper left hand corner of your remote (you will see all the other top buttons light up) then you will let go of the T.V button and enter the number 738 followed by the pound (#) key, notice you will see the clear T.V button flash 3 times. After this you can try the volume function and turning on and off your T.V. If it works you can try changing inputs on the T.V by pressing the T.V/Video button or Input button on the remote. Unfortunately we can't promise our remote will control all the functions on your T.V we also have this link available that you can as well find very helpful http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/remote-setup and you are more than welcome to also contact us directly. Thank you hope this helps.

Dish remote code for Viore 32" HD LCD

Hi, my name is Cheri Torres and I am with DISH Network customer service. I came across your post and wanted to see if I could help. DISHNetwork remotes have a few different codes for each of our different models of remotes. You should be able to find your remote model number on the back at the top ofyour remote it's usually a two to three digit number with a decimal point. Iwill list here for you the best codes for the most common DISH remotes and alsothe instructions for addressing your remote to your TV. The only codes that I was able to find for the Viore TV were for the 5.3 IR remote and the codes are 563 and 500. If these codes do not work you can also try running a channel scan to find your particular code. I will also list here for you the instructions for running a power scan. I hope you find these codes and instructions useful and if you have any further questions or concerns feel free to post back here or email me at Cheri.Torres@Dishnetwork.com. :)
Instructions for addressing remote to TV,
  1. Turn the Television On
  2. Press and Hold the TV mode button down until all the mode buttons (i.e AUX, SAT, TV etc.) light up.
  3. Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
  4. Press the pound(#) button once. Note: The LED will flash three times.
  5. Test functionality with the TV
  6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.
Instructions for running a power scan
  1. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the TV button down until all the mode lights light up.
  2. Press 500 using the number key pad.
  3. Press the pound(#) button once.
  4. The TV button will blink red three times.
  5. Then again press and hold down the TV button down until all the mode lights light up.
  6. Press and release the big red Power button once.
  7. Press the Up button once every second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. Keep pressing the up button until the TV turns off until.
  8. AS SOON AS THE TV TURNS OFF Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
  9. Try the functionality of the TV to see if the power scan worked.

sharonc659,

If you have tried the different codes to program the remote to your TV, you can do a power scan to find a code. I have provided a link on how to do the power scan.

I have a viore tv dvd combo need codes for it

You probably have the same problem that I found after I'd purchased my Viore TV (LC 26VF59), your cable box remote or dish network remote doesn't have the Viore codes built in. Bummer. I looked around and couldn't find codes for my Viore. Doubt you'll find them for yours. Here's a helpful suggestion I read about that works for me:

I bought for $20.00 a Sony RM-VL600 Easy Learn remote control from my electronics store. It's EZ because you only have to place the Sony head to head with the Viore remote, press TV setup and follow Sony's instructions to have its remote catch and learn the codes from your Viore remote. I only programmed my Sony for the Power On/Off, Vol Up/Down from my Viore remote. You back out of Setup and now your Sony will control the TV for those functions. Next you get your cable box or satellite remote put it head to head with the Sony remote, press the CABLE or SATELLITE set-up button on the Sony and then have it learn all the C or S functions you want from that remote. You do program in this mode the Power On/Off button, but you don't program the Vol Up/Down. The volume for the TV will work when you're all finished and operating under the Cable or Satellite button on the Sony remote.

Now, you press the TV button on the Sony and then the Power button. The TV turns on. Now you press the Cable or Sat button and then the Power button and the Cable or Sat box turns on. Like I said, even though now you are operating the Sony remote under the Cable or Sat button the TV volume instructions carry over to this side of the remote so you don't have to switch back to the TV button to raise or lower volume of the TV.

When I'm done watching, I hit the Power off and the cable box turns off. I then hit the TV button and again the Power off button and the TV turns off. So, it's a little inconvenient when starting and stopping, but at least you are using only one remote.

Hope this has helped.

I cannot get my dish 20.0IR remote to work with my viore 32 any ideas? codes?

There are two different ways that you are able to addressthe your remote to your television. The first option for addressing the remoteis to use TV specific codes. Listed below are the top codes that work for aViore TV. 738, 516, 322, 907. The first step is to hold down the 'TV' button at the top ofthe remote until all of the buttons light up. Next enter the three digit codethen press the pound (#) button one time. The TV button should then blink 3times indicating that you have used the correct code. The second option is todo a power scan. This can be done by holding down the 'TV' button for 6 secondsand then release. Press and release the big red power button. Press and releasethe channel up button once per second until the TV turns itself off. After theTV turns off, press the pound (#) button once to lock in the code.

Dish network code for a viore, volume/power not working

You can power scan for the code.
Turn ON the electronic device you want to program the remote to control.
Press the Mode button( sat,tv,dvd, aux) on the remote until the appropriate mode light is flashing.

Press the Power button. The mode light will stop flashing and stay lit.
Press the Up or Down arrow button to set the remote to the next code. The Down arrow button scans backward and the Up arrow button scans forward.
When the correct code is reached, the device (whether a TV, VCR, or other) will turn off.

Press the pound key button to store the code in the remote control memory. If the code is valid for your remote, the mode light will blink 3 times.
Turn the device back ON by pressing the Power button.
Press sat mode key once you power back on the tv to be able to operate the receiver box.
Try some other functions to make sure you have the correct code. Occasionally the Power button may work when others do not.
If the other buttons work you are finished.

.
If the other buttons do not work, repeat the previous steps. The scan will resume from the last code stored.
The mode light will flash rapidly when the scan has returned to the starting point and all codes have been tested for that mode. The remote control may not control some device models.

Viore tv won't see dish network

I will assume this is a direct connect from the wall plate to the TV. With that said you need to run a scan on the set to lock in the channel the second TV is modulated to either 60 air or 73 cable usually. Go into the menu on the tv and select the auto channel search. Some sets scan both sides at once others require you to choose cable or off air. Once this is done you should find the signal.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Need code for DISH remote for a Viore LC22VH55

Hi there. Here is the link to all of the DISH codes http://tech.dishnetwork.com/departmental_content/techportal/content/tech/remotes/TechRemo5.3Code.shtml#tv

If your brand and model is not listed you have three choices. one is to go to radio shack and purchase a universal remote that they guarantee you will work, the second is to replace the Viore with another brand that is listed, and the third is to use two remotes. Sadly in this day, many customers are still having to use two remotes. Whatever way you go with it, good luck and thanks for choosing DISH.
