My 18v charger is not working for my cordless drill made by campbell hausfeld

All chargers do quit at some time. I find either the charger quits or the batteries get weak . Some up to one year the expensive ones three years. Time to get a new one. Just wondering is this charger made for this drill?

I have a Campble Hausfeld DK705000AV cordless air compressor that will not charge. Is there any place that I can get parts for it.

If you are having trouble getting a replacement part through Campbell Hausfeld, recommend opening the case, removing the battery and searching for a part # on the battery itself. It may be a generic battery, and possibly can be found without difficulty.

I have owned the C-H 19 v. cordless drill for about two years. My strategy for charging the batteries is to have one charging while I keep the other one for intermittant use. That worked fine until...

chordless batteries do have a lifespan. if you constantly charged them over a two year period then yes, they are done. they are kind of like lightbulbs and will eventually wear out. i suggest you change to rigid brand tools from Home Depot. they are the only affordable tools that have lifetime warranty even on the batteries. that is unheard of cause they will eventually get worn out. you will spend more on replacemnet batteries over the course of 4 to 6 years than just buying a new Rigid drill. check em out at the Depot.

Replace AC charger for Campbell Hausfeld CC2300 Cordless Compress

After opening the unit up, this info I found out about the rechargeable battery.
*GS Rechargeable Lead-acid Battery (Portalac) PE12V7A (12v 7Ah) - sealed lead battery*

I hope that info help you, or someone, if you got a 12v 7AMP tip positive DC wall adapter, that thearadacly(sp?) will charge the battery, but I'm doing guess work since I don't know much about the AMP in voltage stuff.

I tried my best.

What will happened if i did inserted the 120volts charger to 220 volts?it was supposedly done to 120volts..can i still use the charger nor can i fixed it?

If the charger is rated only for 120 volts and it doesn't work after plugging it into 220, it is probably toast. Anything can be fixed, but unless you are a expert, it is probably cheaper to buy a new charger.

THE TRIGGER SWITCH IS STUCK

If it is over a year old considering replacing it, they are not that expensive. You will be getting hit for batteries etc in the next few months, and by the time you purchase them you can buy another unit and have spare batteries.
Good luck,

I would not recommend. Contact Campbell Hausfeld .com and order nails. You could damage your nail driver plunger if not careful. Plead rate . Thanks

Mine won't hold a charge either. I've had it for about a year and used it about 6 times. I have the manual and it is no help. I guess the battery is bad after a year. What a bummer. Don't purchase this product.
