Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

Delstar MP3/4 player

The - volume button is not working. When I pushed, the volume went up, so I tried the + . I have maxed the volume and can not get the - to work.
Is there a way to reset. Just got for Christmas.
Thanks
Cynthia

I'm having the same problem with the Delstar mp3/mp4 player, except my volume button to turn the music up is not working. The button to turn the volume down works and now my player's volume is at 00 and I can't turn it up to save my life. I just got this for Christmas, too, so if anyone has a solution to this problem, PLEASE reply to this post. I would GREATLY appreciate any help.

I had the same issue. You can use the on screen volume buttons on screen to stop issue and don't use the physical buttons anymore. Watch out about a month after the volume problem started all physical buttons on my DXN7120 stopped working. There are a few reports of this online, I have not found a fix yet.

I need to unlock my volume control

Press menu button, select settings, select playback, select volume limit, turn volume to max and press select button. This should let you play music at max volume

Stuck on Demo Mode

Mine did the same thing, I just took the face plate off and replaced it a couple times, and magically a couple days later it starts working. It does this to me at least once a month, its very irritating. Apparently its a common problem for this model, and as of yet I haven't found any other way to fix it except just waiting for it to start working again. I've decided to scrap mine and buy another player.

Is my tv audio doomed or will the home theatre system work anyways.

some devices these days have a built in volume control, try using your remote for which ever dvd player or satalite bix you use, on push the volume up button on it while you have the volume on the tv maxed out so that you will be able to tell a defference if it works or not.

Volume control

Hi- The volume control is NOT on the wheel. It's accessed by pushing the middle arrow button with 'ENT' on it up or down. Try it you'll like it. BTW, I do repairs. I might be able to repair your remote.

Volume stuck maxed out

the intrenal switch that controls the volume up is shorted. you need to have it replaced. the short of the switch doesn't allow any other buttons on the set to work because the micro is recieving the volume up command. it's as if there is an invisible finger pushing the volume up button. the switch is a tachtile switch which is very inexpencive to repair about $50.00 total. if you want to do the repair yourself be aware there are voltages that remain in the set that can be harmful. 50% of the time the cause of these switches shorting is improper screen cleaning. some people spray glass cleaner directly on the screen, this is bad. the cleaner drips into the set and lands on the PC board where the buttons are housed. but I've seen the other 50% also which is hummidity, dust(not anyones fault this just happens), and simple switch failure. so becareful repairing it your self
