Check for bad solder on
convergence module. May have bad stk's. Do not neglect looking
for bad solder on dsignal and defl boards. Mitsubishi is very prone
to bad solder.
Hi if its a Lcd or Dlp rptv most likely its time to replace the lamp if tv is between 2-4 yrs.If you hear clicking it could be the ballast which is the board that powers the lamp.Make sure fans are running ok ,dust them out if they are dirty.God bless you!
The first thing to try is unplugging the set from the wall, then plugging it back in after 20 seconds or so. Sometimes the computer inside the TV gets confused and this will reset it.
If the problem continues, there are a lot of potential causes, all of which would mean locating and replacing the defective parts. It would be best to call a professional service technician to check the set and give an estimate.
Hi i have a pilips 42" plasma tv (42PF5320/79) i can hear clicking the green light is on and the tv will go into stand by if i press the power button and the red light also comes on .I have turned it on and off and it works now nothing just the light on the front as if its working looking at the back through the slots two green lights come on then the tv clicks and they turn off, thanks
The green light indicates that it is getting power from the outlet ok.
The clicking is the power relay trying to turn it on but there is an
internal fault forcing it to shutdown. You either have a power supply
problem, horizontal output transistor (HOT) is shorted or a bad flyback
transformer. In any case it can most likely be repaired by a qualified
technitian. If it is the flyback it may be expensive.
