WELL???? PDP4210EA hooking up to it?

I was able to find a service manual online which lists the inputs for that TV as the following:

  • RF connector (cable/antenna)
  • Composite (yellow video, red/white audio)
  • S-Video
  • Component (red/green/blue video, red/white audio)
  • D-Sub (analog PC connector)
  • DVI (digital PC connector)
Your Playstation would need to be plugged into either the component or composite connectors depending on which Playstation you have. The Playstation 1, Playstation 2, and Playstation 3 all can use the same composite cable, and the Playstation 2 and Playstation 3 can both use the same component cable. The Playstation 4 only uses HDMI, which your TV doesn't support, so you would need to use an HDMI to component converter (under $20 on Amazon).

As for the Roku, same rules apply, but it again depends on your Roku model.

How should I connect a Sony Wega KF-50WE620 to an XBox360 ?

Since the TV accepts HD signals only via DVI and component inputs, the only logical way is to use the "Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable" as show in the link below:

How to hook up your Xbox 360 or Xbox 360 to TV

The TV will not accept a VGA input. A cable converting HDMI to DVI would also require that you break out the L + R audio channels, too. The one I mentioned above does this all for you with no degradation in video signals.

Link ASUS laptop to Sharp Aquos LCD TV

No, a DVI to VGA adapter will not work. (The TV is looking for the digital signal from a set top box. This is different from the analog signal on the VGA cable.) You need a converter. Your best bet would be a VGA to component video converter. (I am assuming that the Sharp TV has a component video input.) This page has some examples: http://www.ramelectronics.net/audio-video/video-converters/vga-rgb-hv-to-component-video/c10000-c11200-c11215.html?sorter=productname-en-asc . Note a VGA to component video cable will not work. The VGA to component cables are for projectors that read the RGB signal. The component video signal is YPbPr.

Connect the VGA cable to the converter and the component video cable to the TV and the converter with the computer and TV off. Turn on the TV first and set it to the component video input and then turn on the computer. Then (assuming the VGA port is enabled - adjust in the BIOS if needed) set the computer's video output to the VGA port. (On my Windows 7 laptop, this can be done by right-clicking on the desktop. Choose Graphics Properties and set the display to the external monitor or both. Click Apply and then confirm the change (on the external monitor if using the single monitor). (VGA to Composite video converters also exist if you do not have an available component video input on your TV.)

If your computer is fairly new, you may have an HDMI port. Your TV may be able to read the signal with a DVI to HDMI cable. (It depends on the TV. Not all of them will read the computer's signal on the DVI port. Check the documentation for your model. TVs without a VGA port are less likely to support this feature.)

I hope this helps.

How do i hook pc up to tv

Your TV will accept Component, Composite, HDMI and DVI-I inputs. Your computer will need to have a video output that matches one of those on in the list above. The DVI-I or HDMI will provide the best looking picture and is by far the most popular on modern computers. Both the DVI & HDMI jacks are for digital signals.

The standard, run-of-the-mill VGA jack on your computer can be adapted to connect by purchasing a quality cable with a DVI-I connector on one end and a VGA connector on the other. You can also purchase an adapter that will do the same thing instead for less money. If you need a long cable, purchase a quality cable instead of the cheapest one available. You will see a difference with cheapo cables. This will send video to the TV, but audio will be from the computer, unless you send the stereo signal from the computer to a seperate amplifier and speakers.

The HDMI jack will send both video and Dolby Digital audio to you TV all in one cable / connection. Of course, you need a HDMI jack on your computer and an HDMI cable to interconnect. Upgrading a desktop computer with a new video card that has HDMI jacks might be the way to go - but if you're using a notebook, this may be impossible to do.

Good luck! If my answer was helpful, please rate it "4 thumbs up." Thanks!

Hooking up from hd receiver to hdtv ready projection tv. what cables do I use? vga or rca component red, blue, green and sync white/black? My hd receiver has output of :hdmi, rca component, s-video ,...

This particular television puts you in a tough bind - you can use Component cables in AV-1, but you won't be able to get HD. Or you can use the Component cables in the right-most component slot (AV-4), but since your HD Receiver probably doesn't have V/H Sync connectors, you may get a rolling picture. Try the component cables in the right-most slot - if the picture doesn't roll, you're in business.

Once again, I doubt that your model # is a 60pp9202, since that model doesn't have a VGA or DVI slot. If the picture rolls after trying the above, you will need to purchase a HDMI-to-DVI-D cable and hook it up from the HDMI output of your HD receiver to the DVI slot (that looks like a VGA slot) on the back of your Philips or Magnavox.

Greetings 4mother,

It would really depend on what type of hook up you are using. Most of the time a plasma television would be hooked up with either and HDMI or component cables. Your local store should be able to make a solid recommendation based on the items hooked up to your television such as cable or satellite box, dvd player, etc.

I hope this helps.

Thank you,

Dorothy
