It means that the serial key you are using is already been used, you'll need to get a new product serial key, you can get one to the microsoft website.

Tried installing onto new pc with windows 7 but advises me of compatability problems but dosen't say what the problems are do i need to upgrade to newer version of FTM for windows 7 or is there a fix or...

More than likely there is always something that is not compatible with Win 7 the importent thing is the CPU the hard disc space and the memory if this meets the requirements then all that is not compatible is a software issue for a device already installed. When you first boot the upgrade you will see a link that will say check compatibility before you install Win 7 run the capatibilty wizard before you do the Win 7 upgrade or full install. You have to download a program it that checks all this for you. Click Here

I have Windows 7 and it my daughters hello kitty photo booth (digital camera kit) said that it would only support up to VISTA which I had until I can I get this to work on my Windows 7?

Have you tried installing it on Win 7? Most software made for vista will run fine on Win 7. Otherwise you can try running the program in "XP Compatability Mode". You can do this by right clicking the installation file (or if installed already, the shortcut you use to open the program) and click properties. Then click the Compatability tab and check "run this program in compatability mode for:" and choose Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

I have a HP m1160n, I installed windows 7 an II need three drivers. TV tuner, audio and ethernet. Any help?

Hi there
Sorry to hear you have a problem. Did you install windows 7 as an upgrade? If so, did you run the upgrade advisor before you upgraded? If you installed it as a new clean Operating System, did you check to see if your HP m1160n has drivers that will work with windows 7? I just went to the HP website to check for your drivers but it does not recognise the model you state M1160N. Go here and put in all the numbers of all the stickers on the case or that look like HP. These maybe serial number, part number, model number, spares number until you get a match for M1160N. Then check to see if your drivers are available for Windows 7. If they are not you will need to install seperate new audio, network and TV tuner cards that er compatible with Windows 7.
All the best, Phil

Audio deriver for windows 7

Drivers for Windows 7 may be included in the operating system, distributed via Windows Update hpweb_1-2_exit.gif, or downloaded from HP. Please note that drivers for Windows 7 are available for select models only.
If upgrading from Windows Vista to Windows 7, many drivers installed on your PC may already be compatible with Windows 7. You may need to obtain new drivers if the previous drivers are not compatible, or if you perform a custom installation and reformat your PC.

Trouble updgrading to Windows 7

All is fine up to that point into the setup because it's generic up to that point. The chipset on the motherboard is not supported by windows 7 at this point. It is not the harddrive that's not compatible but is the chipset in the board that supports the operation of the drive. The compatibility wizard is causing all kinds of problem for MS. It could just be one little chip in the board that is hanging up your install. There are many topics if you Google Windows 7 forced install. People are saying some forced installs are working and some are not. Good luck
