My picture on the LG 37LC7d is too big for the screen the top and bottom are cut off how can I fix this You need to adjust the aspect ratio, look for button on remote called 'ASPECT', 'ZOOM', or 'SIZE'. On the remote control there is a zoom button. Your picture is zoomed in x2. You need to set it to normal.

Its pretty easy check your remocon for the button that writes
ratio press it continiouly until you find the 16:9 ratio

Rt sd of tv has lighter color vertically 6" wide from top to bottom


Try leaving unplugged one or two hours , see if it improves.

If not the unit must be taken apart, first thing to check is the ribbon cable to LCD screen.

Checkl also all settings and cable connections.

LG 37LC7D HDTV just went blank. Screen blacked out and green light is on but no response to input change, remote, volume, or channel change. I've unplugged it for several minutes in an effort to reboot...


My lg 37lc7d is having the same problem. My backlight is on but no display. Also the standby light blinks several times then the screen goes on but it's just all black. No a/v

LG TV MODEL 442L0520 SERIAL 005RMKUA3341 PICTURE IS TOO BIG FOR THE SCREEN,K TOP AND SIDES CUT OFF. WHEN WATCHING SPORTING EVENTS, SCORES CANNOT BE SEEN.


You need to go into the TV menu and change the settings for the display! Press the Menu button and adjust the Picture! It's probably set to automatic and not reading them correctly.

Lg 37lc7d with no picture or sound but green light comes on . popping noise preceeded problem. no obvious blown capacitors


Ur tuner board is dead.Replaced this board to get picture back.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com for the board part.

Top and bottom of the picture is cut off.


look for a button on the remote control that says, "pic size"," zoom","aspect" and scroll through until you get to 16x9, full , fill screen . i can't remember what this model states on the screen.

Viewing area is cut off at sides


It's not your tv. It's your cable box setting. Go into settings on your cable remote and set picture size to normal and not zoom or any other setting. Also make sure your picture format is set to 16:9 on your tv. If you cannot figure how to change picture size on your cable box, contact your cable provider. Good Luck.

Picture too big.


HDTV's come with selections that will change the screens display, on the remote press the format button and you should be able to find a setting that you desire.
