LG front load dryer jumps from 40 min to 19 min to 5 min in short time. Any suggestions?

Dryers can base their drying time two different ways. If you are using the "dryness" settings, when you first start the cycle, the timer will show a specific time. If the contents dry fairly fast, the moisture sensors in the dryer will reduce the remaining drying time. This may be what is causing your changes. If you want a specific time on the dryer, or the dryness settings aren't getting the clothes as dry as you'd like, opt for a "timed" dryer setting, where you choose the drying time. This bypasses the sensors.

Timer minutes remaining jump backwards

The timer circuit on the main panel board has a faulty timer chip in it. It may be because of a temporary short caused by lint or dirt getting on the legs of the integrated circuit, or a crack in the circuit board.

I need to know how to set the time on my model RETP RINGGRIP TIMER

To set the time;
Press and hold the TIME button during the time setting procedure. While holding the time button press DAY to set the correct day and HR to set the correct hour (make sure the am/pm is correct) and then MIN to set the correct minutes. (If you hold down the Day/Hr/Min button for more than 2 seconds it will give a fast run-through)

Takes 2 hrs to run a 45 min cycle

defo a heating element fault or an ntc fault. More likely to be the element though.

None use for 7 days

I have a fisher paykel dd603 dishwasher. If I select the normal wash setting on the top drawer, it posts the time in the lcd screen as 56 mins. The unit will wash as usual until it reaches the 28 min mark. At this point it will stay on 28 mins and continue to run, but it won't rinse or empty the drawer of water. Also it never counts down below the 28 min mark. It has flashed a F4 and F1 code. I've cleared them both, and checked to make sure that no water is standing on the bottom of the unit, and that the heating element is working. I should mention that the top drawer did overflow about two weeks ago, and that I did clean up the water. I don't know where to look from here. Any suggestions?
