I think that is the wrong fuse but still it would pop if you have a line problem on the circuit that fuse is piping for a reason not the value but there are more issues on the circuit then what you repaired I would start digging and see if there are more popped caps! not in the power supply but else where like the hd push board or the decoder in better terms.

Thanks hope this helps if you cannot get it done take it in for a estimate as estimate will tell you the issue fixed or not and you can take that advice from that tech and repair your TV!!

May i suggest a service manual?

No Picture FS2 2AMP 250V is blowing at the time

You have a short or did not use correct fuse---many fuses aside from amperage are special----generic ones blow for no reason many times---either wrong fuse or a dead short---

the power supply board will need replacement if it has blown fuses. Replacing the fuses will only cause them too blow again unless the short in the power supply is fixed. You can get replacement power boards from

I have a Olevia 242-T11 and it has no blue power light, removed rear cover discovered blown fuse at power board, went to radio shack and found simular fuse 5A 250v but fuse keeps blowing out when powe

The fuse is always a protector and when it had blown a second time it is certain that there is a short or high current drain in the power circuit which exceeds the limit and so to prevent further damage or fire the fuse blows off. You need to just use a multimeter to check so as to confirm the short on the power supply unit.

How do I know If the fuse that needs replaced is a "slow blow" or "fast acting" fuse?

Look at the stampin on the fuse, if it has TXXA 250V, then it is a slow blow fuse type (T = Time dealy), some may be stamped with SLO-BLO XXA 250V on it.
Post pictures if you are not sure.

Can't find 2A 125v fuse replacement for on-off will 250v be OK?

There is no difference between a 125v and 250v fuse. The most important thing is the 2Amp. This fuse is probably the line fuse and could be the only trouble and may have blow with a line surge. Make sure the 2A you use is a Fast Blow Type. If it does blow again you most likely have a internal power supply failure.

Vizio P42HDTV10A picture faded and washed out

Try finding the gamma/brightness potentiometer and turning it ever so slightly, testing each time to see if you are adjusting it correctly. If I'm right, it will be on the same circuit board as the cable tuner. I'm not a p42 owner but my dad has a vizio of another kind with this problem.
