Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I have had my ps3 for 2 years now. Yesterday i was playing madden and it randomly shut off and when i went to turn it back on..it went from a red light to green light then yellow and then finally blinking red. I have read that you can clean out your ps3 but i do not know how to take it apart to clean it. If anyone has any suggestions then that would be great!
It's an internal component failure much like the rrod, unlike the rrod
it's not a generalized failure. It means your CPU or your GPU in the
unit has come disconnected from the motherboard and needs to be
reconnected either by reapplying thermal compound or the solder. There
are videos on youtube that show you how to do this step by step and
what you need. Here's the link:

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
