Hello,

This is not a windows error.
It looks like some 3rd party application that is using the C-Tree programming language.
Most likely it will be your logitech product.

In order to solve this please start windows in safe mode pressing F8 at the computer start.
As soon as your logged in go to Start-Run.
There you have to type MSCONFIG.

Another window opens, go to the startup tab and uncheck some items to get a clean boot.

If you have some logitech product installed in that menu try unchecking it.

If you need further assistance please don't hesitate and contact me.

Hope it helped.

could be a few things cylinoid may be going out hmm even though you changed fuel system fuel lines may be clogged during the winter when it sit the fuel goes bad and can harden and after one or many years build up change fuel lines remove line from carburator and see if it flows (most people use cheap gas not all gas is the same ethanol is very bad for small engines use a ethanol free gas should be written on the pump {may contain ??% ethanol} check link out see what consumer report says about it very scary even for your car) may be a short in the wiring some where or even it has a altenator that may be going out have you had to jump start it also your exaust may be clogged remove it and use air pressure to clean it pushing reverse or may be the heads need cleaning or carburator may need to be cleaned or adjusted as it starts shuting down play with choke if it helps some definatly the carb or fuel line Gas with ethanol can make small engines fail if this dont work you may need to bring it to a pro repair shop i strongly discourage using shade tree mechanics for these type of problems a pro will have alot more info on parts and be able to get parts alot easier and will have the right tools but if you are on a budget have a pro diagnose the problem atleast then your self or have a shade tree mech repair (tip some shade tree mech will try to use parts from other engines that may have been very close to having the same problem unless the part is free or less than ten percent of new price use new parts always

Everytime i open my cityville it stays on 92% saying error #2: net status failure giving me problem playing cityville.

1) Check your Java. 2) Try to download Google Chrome and Play in google chrome browser 3)Go to 'Start' and then Run write "msconfig" inside Run tab and press 'enter'
inside the 'System configuration utility' window click on 'startup' tab then uncheck all the applications except your current antivirus and press apply then 'ok' and then 'exit without restart' option.

Now right click My Computer and go to properties tab.
click 'Advanced' tab then under performance menu click on 'settings'
go to 'Advanced' click on 'change' and increase your virtual memory to 2048 in both spaces.
Now restart windows.

To quickly restart windows press CNTRL+ALt+DEL
inside task manager you will find all the open applications.
right click on each application and click on end process tree then ok

Close all your apps like this and you will find your windows a lot faster and now you can reboot or turn off your windows as usual from start button.

Hi i have just got a new Pavilion DV7 only a few weeks old on boot/start up it starts then goes off several times before it starts to load windows the fan starts and the lights come on then goes off...

Run CHKDSK/F to check for errors. There may be an error on the hard drive.
Closing the lid when closing down, puts it in sleep mode and it will restart much easier but the error should be removed.

Pavilion dv7 keeps shutting down

  • This may not fix your issue but its worth a try ...let me know how it goes
  • If the computer appears to shutdown and then attempt to restart without displaying an error message, do the following to disable the automatic restart on error setting.
    1. Click Start , right-click Computer , and then select Properties .
    2. Click Advanced system settings , grant permission to continue if prompted, and then click the Advanced tab.
    3. Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section of the Advanced tab.
    4. Deselect the Automatically restart checkbox under System failure .
    5. Click OK to close the Startup and Recovery window, click OK again to close the System Properties window, and then close the Control Panel window.
    6. Restart the PC.
Disabling the automatic restart setting allows time to view the error message that displays on the screen. Contact the manufacturer of the program or device that is causing the error for specific information about the error message.

System configuration utility window will open up
U will see few tabs at the top like General,Startup
    Click on startup tab
At the bottom click disable all>>Close>>It will ask for restart
    Restart the computer
when the computer restarts you will get the message
You have used the system configuration utility
Check the box at the bottom Do not Show this Message Again and click ok
Now you wont see the icons that use to load up on the right bottom of your system, however they have not been deleted just hidden,if you want to access any of those programmes that use to appear before
Click start>>All Programmes>>and clik the application you need to open.

    LAPTOP SHUTS DOWN

    Hey,

    a few possible problems:

    1. Bad power connector
Check the cables and your battery.

    2. Virus
If you dont have antivirus I suggest you get www.avast.com download the home version.

    3. Overheating
Does the laptop get VERY hot fast? monitor the temperatures.

If you are unable to solve the problem, id recommend to take it to a professional, it would be easyer for you and me.

Id recommend turning off automatic restart on failure.
Heres how to turn that off:

when windows is starting before the logo comes up, press f8 untill a menu shows up and select disable automatic restart.

if you do that you might start seeing some blue screens when your computer shutdown instead of just shuting down, these screens can be used to solve the problem if you get such a screen, type up the all the codes. Example 0x00000f1 (0x000000...)
