You will have to dismantle it to find what is the problem: probably a connector, most likely from the power switch/pulse button to the engine. But it could also be the engine itself - you will need an continuity tester/ohmmeter ( a small battery and a flashlight bulb will do if you don't have anything else).

I have used my 10 cup processor one time and now when I turn it on , you hear the motor but the blade doesn't turn

With the machine UNPLUGGED disassemble and check to see if the drive mechanism is engaged. Could be as simple as a loose screw in the coupling assembly. I no longer have my unit.. I tossed it in the trash and sent Sears a nasty letter.

I have a kenwood chef mod 703c the motor spins and drives the belt ok butwhen i engage the power switch the mixerhead does nothing, does not turn

The problem is that the clutchdog, which is normally engaged by the peg on the liquidiser cover, is worn. Remove the top casing of the machine by removing the 3 screws and all of the outlet covers. Then unscrew the top of the gear box and prise open carefully with a screwdriver to expose the gears. The clutch dog can be unscrewed. Remove the spring that is on the outside of the gearbox and replace it on the inside of the gearbox so that it pulls the clutch dog down permanently. This then needs to be screwed back once the top of the gearbox has been screwed back together. Sounds complicated but it will be obvious when you try it. The machine will then turn the main attachment hub but will remain engaged as for later model machines. Hope this helps. John UK

Light comes on but won't pulse or turn "on."

The Kitchenaid food processors have a few safety features implimented. If the unit is not assembled properly, this may prevent the unit from turning on. I am thinking this is an issue of assembly because the light is on, so the unit is definitely getting power.

Proper assembly is below:

If it isn't all ready, please disassemble the entire unit. This means removing the blade and/or disc, blade, removing work bowl, work bowl lid, and blade.

Start by placing the work bowl onto the motor base. The work bowl handle should be facing at 9 o'clock, which is out to your left. Rotate the handle downward until it locks in at the 6 o'clock position, which will lock over the center of the button panel.

Repeat the process with the work bowl lid. The blade does not need to be present for the motor to engage, if this is an assembly issue.

Lights all Come on, Then spins up a few seconds then dies

Remove work bowl completely - then try the various buttons. If no spinning occurs with work bowl removed, the motor is dead. Find out from Cuisinart if you are still under warranty, and send in for repair.

Power red llight is on, but the motor/blades won't go

Well, now I feel totally foolish. The handle on the bowl must be toward the front of the bowl, not the rear otherwise the operating post won't engage.
