My ps3 does not read my games or movies is there something i can do for that on my own or no?

Throw your warranty in the Bin.
they,ll replace it most likely. sounds like the lasers gone already. 2 weeks you say, good old SONY eh.

Replace the lens unit (KES-400 AAA).
For fflam , it sounds like the youd disk mechanism is misaligned.
Try to find a unit of ebay that is has a defective lens and replace it with your lens.

The problem is not normally with the discs itself but with the lens coming away from where it needs to be.
You just need to readjust the lens that sounds difficult but really it is not too tough.
