Water is coming out where the cleaner is suppose to siphon from. Do you have a schematic of how that port should be , i.e the small spring and the bearing?

If water is coming out, then you just need to reverse the spring and ball bearing (swap them around). Right now, the spring is where ball bearing should be and this is keeping the ball bearing from seating against the o-ring inside. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Usually, the small end of the cone spring goes against the ball bearing.

I have a jammed Honda 600 Transalp centre stand. Can anyone help ?

I have just fitted a main stand to my Transalp 650 , if by jammed you mean rusted i think the only way would to remove it ! if thats the case you would have to remove the springs take out the split pin and tap the main bar out , grease well and fit back using two screewdrivers , use a larg phillips and a small flat screwdriver, lever the large spring down to the spring holder with the phillips and then then flip it onto the spring holder using the small flat screwdriver, then i used some strong cord to pull the small spring down onto the same spring hook ( holder)

Took off trim around lightbulb

Place the circle of the springs on the two small post that are in the center piece of the trim that heads into the hood, make sure that the two legs of the springs are to the outside of the post. The small legs should lay against outside the center piece. The larger legs should be angled downward. Look in the hood and you should see a piece of metal with a central vertical opening on each side. Take the trim piece with the springs attached and lift the wings of the springs so that they enter the slits. The important part is that the small legs of the springs must be placed against the outside surtace of the hood. As you push the trim piece in the hood the wings of the spring will be forced down through the slits by the pressure of the small legs of the spring against the exterior of the surface of the hood. This pressure will keep the trim piece in place. It may help to remove the filters so that you can see inside of the hood. Make sure that the small legs of the spring are against the outside surface of the hood or there will not be any resistance to create pressure by the springs.

Motor lopes and is rough

Sounds as if you have had work done before. If the head covers were off before, then its agood likelyhood the spring could of come right out of someones pocket as they working on it. Things can slide down into the journel through the oil ports. You would be surprised to find just how many thing I have found from mechanics working on my engines of the past. Small washers and even small bolts can fall into the pan. This is why there is a pan in the first place to catch stuff. But if the engine has never been opened, then we are talking a whole other story. small smog values have small springs in them. One of these could of come apart and fall into oil passages. Some are large enough to pass small parts. If your engins is running rough its a good bet that one of the smog controllers came apart. Check egr value, its small enough to be suspected. It has a small spring inside of it. New ones are under 12.00 bucks. So I'd look there first.
