Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How to change mp3 into ring tones ?

  • Direct your sound-editing software to where the LAME library is located on your computer.

  • Make a duplicate of the MP3 song or sound you are using for the ringtone, and move that copy into a separate file to work on it. This will prevent you from losing your original MP3.

  • Open your MP3 into your sound-editing program, and find the 15 to 25 seconds you would like to use as your ringtone. Crop that section out of the original MP3.

  • Export your new ringtone as an MP3, and save it with an appropriate name.

  • Connect your phone to your computer using a data cable or Bluetooth connection to transfer the ringtone to the phone. Alternatively, you can email the ringtone file to your phone if your phone supports that service.

  • Download Sound-Editing Software
  • Download free sound-editing software from the Internet. Audacity (available for Mac OX, Windows and Linux) is one of the most popular and widely used versions

  • Download the LAME compression library for free. Store it on your hard drive where it won't be accidentally deleted.

In the settings folder under profiles you have to have yours set to normal and then go back and set the file as a ringtone.

How to set mp3 file as a ringtone on the samsung two step

Most modern mobile phone can use MP3 as ring tones: you will need either a cable or Bluetooth adaptor to connect the mobile phone and PC together and then 'upload' your MP3 file to your mobile phone in the appropriate directory (you can usually guess which directory by looking at other directories and files on your mobile. Once you have downloaded the MP3 (of reasonnable length) file to your mobile phone, just select your new ringtone from your alternative directory. Enjoy!
ps. you could of course the MP3 file send to you directly rather than using the traditional Bluetooth or cable connections.

I can not download music from my PC to my Katana Eclipse X.

    Hi, Welcome to FixYa

There are three ways to transfer files to your mobile. USB,Bluetooth,3G Upload

    Using a USB connection:
The Sanyo Katana Eclipse is compatible with the "USB Mass Storage" norm. While linking your Sanyo Katana Eclipse to your computer should make it appear as a memory key. Open it and just drag MP3 or other sound or music files straight to your phone, as if it was one of your computer's folder. For the remaining steps, please refer to your Sanyo Katana Eclipse manual. The ringtone section should explain how to select an uploaded file as a ringtone. You can download user guide here
    By Bluetooth:
The Sanyo Katana Eclipse is Bluetooth-enabled. Bluetooth is a wireless system which lets you connect your cell phone to computers, headsets, car kits, etc. If your computer is also Bluetooth-enabled, simply establish a connection between both devices and transfer your music files from your computer to your Sanyo Katana Eclipse.

    Via a 3G Uploader:
If none of the above tricks do not work with your Sanyo Katana Eclipse or if you prefer not to buy new accessories, you can still use one of the numerous free "3G Uploader" services available online. 3G uploaders work as follows: Save your own music on their web site and they will provide a temporary URL. Navigating to that URL with your Sanyo Katana Eclipse's browser should download the free ringtone.

    Thanks

    Bluetooth down loads to ringtones

hello, wel if you already recieved it remember this cellphone has some 'conditions' in order for a ringtone to be accepted. it only takes mp3 and they MUST have the following chars:

    8kHz (frecuency)
    64Kbps (binary index)
    MP3 (file format)
    1 mono (channel)

then you gotta save it under the Audio section (not music) and just set it as a ringtone. It must appear on your ringtone list once it has passed the conditions. If you saved it on your MiniSD card then you need to either copy it to the phone Or enable the option thru a service application. Hope this helps.
