Question about Audio Players & Recorders
In that receiver ther is a fuse that controls the display, I have the same unit, there are 4 fuses by the power supply, it would be one of those, I cant remeber which one but if the fuse is blown it will turn of the entire display. Check that out and if thats not the problem, then there is a short in the unit.
