Check if there is no third party software on your system. I mean program that can interfere with ur wireless program. If there is no program of such. You have to update or the re-install the wireless software

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If you have having boot problems and the systemkeeps restarting, then turn off the computer, then hit the power button andimmediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Scrolldown past Safe Mode and you will see an option to DISABLE AUTOMATIC RESTART.Take the Disable Automatic Restart option.

I have HP probook 6450b and I would like to disable the wireless button on laptop. I keep accidentally hit the button which then drops my wireless connection. Do you how this can be done?

The only way to disable it would be to disable all of the buttons. This can be done either by unplugging it from the mother board or disabling the device through device manager.

IBM Thinkpad laptop Wireless connection not working laptop is asking to switch on wireless switch- "Where is it?"

Verify that the radio is enabled.
It is possible to disable the transmitter of the wireless card without Device Manager showing any problems.
Note: Follow the instructions provided to enable wireless card.
  • Most wireless cards will put an icon in the system tray (the line of icons in the lower right corner of your screen). Right click this icon and it may have a menu option to enable/turn on the wireless radio.
  • Some systems come with a Wireless Radio switch to disable the wireless radios. The wireless radio switch is usually located on the front side of the machine. If you are having difficulties with wireless connections, make sure the Wireless Radio switch is set in the On position.

My wireless device is disable its hp laptop itried many ways but couldnt make it on?

Look on the laptop case for an on/off switch or slider, to enable/disable the wireless adapter.

Or, hold down the FN key on the keyboard, and press one of the "F" keys that shows a radio-antenna with lightning-bolts, to enable/disable the wireless adapter.

Keep losing the wireless signal on my laptop.Checked the Router everything is fine, the laptop has a built in reader.stops working even if it is next to the Router, and sometimes goes altogther.

1. Disable or remove Norton Security (usually the problem with intermittent wireless).
If that doesn't work:
2. Disable any wireless TV transmitters you have in your house. 3. Turn off all PCs, then restart the router. Wait until all the lights have stopped blinking, then start up the PC(s).

If you had given the model of the laptop I would have given you the direct link. If you don't find it, please post the model of the laptop.
