Question about Motorola Mobility HS850 Consumer Headset
I have a Blackberry Curve and just got the HS850. I follow the steps exactly, but my blackberry picks up my computer, my camera, and my printer, but not the HS850 headset. I have tried going away from all other devices, have repeated turning off and back on. Nothing works. Did I just get a bad device? Please Help. Thanks, Tara
Solution #1 worked. I pressed closed Bluetooth, then when it lit up immediately opened headpiece for pairing. I already had my blackberry ready to discover devices, then I hit discover on the blackberry. It found the HS850; I entered 0000 on the Blackberry, and it paired!

I was having the same problem and found the following help from the blackberrycool website:
Pairing is a bit clumsy with the Motorola HS850. It involves pressing and holding the call button while the microphone is folded closed, then quickly opening it up once the blue LED comes on to put the phone in discoverable mode. The headset is capable of pairing up to eight devices and provides BlueTooth 1.2 support.
