Question about Bodum Santos 3000 Coffee Maker
Sounds like the heater coil is burned out. Might be time to replace the coffee maker.

I've had this same problem through three of these machines now. I replaced them because I love them. But they have stopped making them. One time Bodum told me cheaper to replace than fix, and he didn't know why. One thing i read spoke of the heater unit cracking and leaking .. maybe shorting out element?..i don't know..but the stopping heating thing is same thing happened to me over and over..but usually after very long time..so i got money's worth, but it truly disappoints me they stopping making them..i have a call in to ask why?
