What is wrong? my active bass whether i put a new battery in or not sounds passive no change whatsoever. quite a bit of the low end is severely missing. Schecter STARGAZER 5 bass.

That bass combines passive EMG pickups with an active preamp (which provides the bass and treble controls). Sounds like you are never getting the preamp to work, and if that is the case there could be numerous reasons...a dead battery...jack wiring that is broken (meaning the battery ground wire is not attached or is grounding out)...likely should see a tech, but that is a good sounding bass when working correctly.

Which are the best speakers i should use with my sony amp 222

Rockford is great for bass and your two way speakers. Alpine still controls the three way speakers that I would suggest for wanting the strong vocals with less bass. Too much bass bad so I would ignore most input from "audio" guys. They always over build the bass side, balance is the key.

I have a system installed and i have mtx speakers plus mtx subwoofers i want to know how could i take the bass of the speakers because it sounds horrible when loud

if you turn the bass setting in your radio down it will take the bass out, but may take some of the bass out of the subs as well, if this occurs and you still are not satified, you either have to get a car receiver with a non fading subwoofer preout, or you could get bass blockers for all the speakers you dont want the bass in

How do i get bass from my iva-d310

To get to the bass settings touch [SETUP] on the source main screen and on the next screen touch [i-Personalize]. Touch [>>] of BASS ENGINE. The screen will change to the Bass Engine setting screen. Touch left or right arrow or [>>] of the desired Bass Engine setting item (i.e. Bass Max EQ, Bass Focus, etc). Touch arrows or the adjusted screen of the selected setting item, and change the setting. When setting is complete, storing in memory is recommended. Touch [RETURN] when finished.

The bass go in and out ,the sub bass knob is loose, can i fix it

the bass nob must have worn out, that's why it cannot stay firm when you press it in.

Get something tiny like a pin, press the bass knob in, and at the same time fix in the tiny object by the side of the knob, to hold the bass knob firm, so that it will not pop out when you let go off it.

    Take care.

    No Bass

Try turning the volume up on your laptop up to high, while the volume on your deck is lower... This will put a stronger signal into the deck first... you may get more bass, Another trick is to EQ the highs and mids lower and crank up the bass... see if you get an acceptable amount of bass with these tricks..

How to get a fat and clear sound from schecter

Ninety percent of what you want depends on the amp and speaker you are using.

You likely will want a 15 inch speaker in a bass cabinet to start with and a decent midrange driver as well.

No amount of EQ will fix an audio system that just can't put out the bass tones.

How do you adjust the bass levels on a Yamaha HTR6130 receiver? I can get the display to show Bass 0db, but what button changes the settings?

When you touch tone button on your front panel repeatedly, you will get two option for setting bass and trebble, when you select Bass immediatly press your updown Sound field Program Button.
Please note:for better sound if your using Small front speaker keep bass to 0db and select the low frequency through sub woofer and program manually LFE from only Sub woofer and addjust CUT off frequency of Subwoofer to 160 and incase if your bass is not clear put it into rev mode.

    Bass boost/Gain

Both the bass boost and the gain generally do the same thing, except the bass boost is essentially "additional gain" at a particular frequency (in this case, 45Hz). I would suggest lowering the bass boost (10?) and adjust the gain. Honestly, you may have to play around with both settings until you find a happy medium. There is going to be a maximum the amp can provide no matter how you get there. Hope that helps!
