Ricoh AP600N This printer started to print strangely as follows: First page sometimes OKlets say w left margin of 1/2" Second page left margin is now 1/2"+ maybe 1/8" Thirds page whatever was second page + ~~ 1/8" So every page gets skewed like that then has a paper jam and stops. Restarting after clear the paper jam; same as above; 1st page OK all otehr pages offset by 1/8" or so. Tried to clean accesible rollers etc, somehow helped (was offset by 1/4" or so prior) but problems didnt go away, Called Ricoh they immediately suggested tech visit at $195.00/hour plus parts WHEwwwww!!!. They never mentioned that there is a mainrtenance kit for about $200 available out there for this printer model either !!!!!!!. Their tech supoport is OUT TO MAKE MONEY !!!!! Before I buy this 90,000 page Maintenance Kit I thuoght I would ask you, esteemed top computer experts. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I am using RICOH AP600N for almost 4 years now and I recently started having the same problem which Sergey is having. I am not sure whether buying $190 maintenance kit is better or replacing it with a new printer.

Same problem, printer started to ofset pages. By the time I put the maintenance kit in it was consistently stopping in the middle of printjobs and reported 'paper jam'. Almost like some controller that is responsible for syncronizing the paper flow is crashing.

I work with over 100 of these Ricoh printers. The MAint kit is only the fuser and does nothing to fix the problem. I have 3 in my office at the moment I am working on with new Maint kits ( fuser & 3 rollers ) snd it makes no difference. I am in the process of breaking one down and rebuilding it.

How do I change margin setrtings foe Lexmark P4350

If you are preparing to print a document that you have created in Microsoft Word, you may be concerned that all the text on the page will print exactly as you see it on your screen. This is not always the case. You can adjust your print margins to ensure that your text prints on each page exactly the way you would like it to appear.

Opening Your Document
Open your Microsoft Word document by double-clicking the Word icon on your desktop. If you do not see the icon on your desktop, then you can locate it where it is buried on your "Start" menu. Click "Start," followed by "All Programs." Then click "Microsoft Office," followed by "Microsoft Office Word." A new document will open on your screen. Click the "Office Button," followed by "Open." Scroll through the files listed, and double-click the one you would like to print. It will open on your screen.

Check Your Margins
By default, your page margins are set to 1-inch margins on the top, bottom, right and left of your page. You can check your margins or change them by clicking "Page Layout," followed by the "Margins" button.

Select New Margins
Select a different margin size, such as "Narrow," which indicate 1/2-inch margins, or "Wide," which indicate one-inch margins on the top and bottom and two-inch margins on the left and right. You also can select "Moderate," which indicate one-inch margins on the top and bottom and 3/4-inch margins on the left and right. Finally, you can select "Mirrored," which indicates one-inch margins for the top, bottom and outside. The inside margins are set at 1 1/4 inches.

Print Your Page
Print your page. Press "Control" plus the "P" button. The printer dialog menu will come up. Make sure that "All Pages in Range" is selected. Press "OK." If your printer cannot print your new margins, then a new menu will pop up telling you to adjust your margins.

I hope you find it very helpful. Best regards.

On my Laserjet 3015, in Microsoft Word, if I set top, bottom, left, and right margins to 1", on the printed page, the margins print as Top 1", Left 15/16", Right 1-1/8", and Bottom...

Hi,
The default paper selection/ size in MS Word is 'letter'. you may have designed the document on letter size and while printing you have A4 size paper in the printer.
So, Make sure that you design the document on the same paper size (such as A4, which is commonly used). Secondly, while printing don't print the document directly. From the Print dialogue option choose the exact paper size and un-check (de-select) any option of paper resizing (if available). You will have the documents printed exactly as designed.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!
