I have loud static in my Zoom h4n

There's dirt in there. If you know how to spray contact cleaner in the appropriate place, do so. If not, take it to a competent repair person.

Disconnect the "audio-out" cables from the unit.
Leave the "audio-in" cables connected.
Try to record. Does this work correctly?

Ion ittusb turntable interference

Please describe the conditions under which the noise happens. Is it always the same place? Whic is it - static or some other kind of interference? Read the following. If you're using high speaker volume to monitor while recording you could experiment with identifying it as the casue by cranking it up to see if you can make it worse.
As with any turntable the following advice for this one will apply:

The tonearm setup is critical for proper tracking. Do it again with extreme care if mistracking is your problem.

I found one model online and a review with some sample of music. Quite interesting...

The author complained about some things that clearly mark him as a stranger to finer turntables. Complaining about having to assemble and position the 'rubber band', aka the drivebelt, and the tonearm counterweight shows that he underestimates the precision required for a mechanism to rotate at a constant precise speed while properly tracking the microscopic undulations of the groove without skipping into the air or gouging it to death.

Some basics when recording from a turntable...
1) Place the turntable as far from speakers as possible on a solid surface that you will not touch during the recording
2) Keep the volume low enough that airborne sounds don't cause mistracking of the stylus *
3) Avoid anything that will cause vibration or movement of the turntable. (Tip toe)
* If you have a subwoofer, turn it off.

Some advice after reading the article: don't try to save recording time by playing the discs at 45rpm. The best tracking of the disc and recording of the minute details in the grooves will be at the nativespeed of the recording. Digital manipulation later only gloms up the accuracy you probably want.

In general, the fewer the conversions steps in the analog domain, the better; and the fewer the bit rate conversions in the digital domain, the better.

Pioneer VSX-D85OS very loud static through speakers.

Its over heating no cheap fix. But wait if u buy an eternal fan n place it on top or behind it will do the trick. Try blowing on top when static happens n sound comes back on.

Static...annoying static...

I use a cheap Mp3 player and transmitter combined and it works very well. Why a more expensive product should be so disappointing it is difficult to guess.

The obvious answer is the the unit is faulty if it doesn't perform as the instruction manual and advertising suggests and probably should be returned to the retailer for a refund.

It is possible the display is telling lies and the actual transmitter frequency shifts when no one is holding the gooseneck. It might be necessary to tune the radio slightly off-frequency for clear reception.

It could be second channel interference and so tuning to the other end of the radio scale might be useful. Mine is tuned to 108 Mhz because the band there is completely clear.

It could be the signal to noise ratio is elevated due to inefficient grounding of the power socket or it is possibly picking up electrical interference from some device in the car's electronics.

The fact that you have already used a transmitter successfully in your car and others are complaining of the same problem, it would indicate China has exported a bad batch with the same or similar faults - maybe the gooseneck should be grounded and isn't...
I suggest you visit the retailer and express your displeasure and show him a copy of your complaint and the other comments.

Audio is making a buzzing sound....

Normal 0 Two things can cause static.
First, If you have your speakers turned up to high it will give you feedback causing distortion and static. I recommend using a headset when videoing.
Second reason is, if you are using a laptop and have added an external microphone between the two it will cause distortion and static.
Not knowing the configuration of your computer makes it harder to analyze the problem.
So hope this is of some help. Bud
