Question about Panasonic KX-TG6071M Cordless Phone
I have static thru the handsets... i see in the manual something about possibly changing channels... how can i do that ?? Any other suggestions... does not happen on other non-cordless phones in house
Move it away from other electronics, TV's microwave ovens, etc. Try it in a different part of the house to see if the static is location sensitive. It must be getting interference from someplace. The manual should describe a procedure for changing channels although that may not solve the problem unless the "static" is an interfering RF signal. If this is a remote handset problem, it may be too far from the base or the signal is obstructed by something. 5.8GHz does not have the range of the lower frequency phones.
