Question about Kenmore Washing Machines

1 Answer

I have a Kenmore top loading washing machine model 92529110. My wife has been noticing that the tub leans toward the front causing the water to hit the back edge of the tub instead of running straight into the tub. She can push the tub toward the back and it runs in fine. What would be the cause of this?

I found out the springs on the tub had come lose causing it to tilt toward the front. The machine itself was level.

The machine needs to be leveled. Unscrew the front legs until the machine is level. If there isn't enough screw, or if your floor is really uneven, put a board under the front legs. After you get the front level, lean the machine toward you, tilting it front, until the back feet are about 3 inches off the floor. Let the machine drop. This will set the back legs into position. They are self leveling.

Water leak at bottom of Whirlpool Estate washer. Removed the cabinet. No leaks from the water pump, hoses or inlet valve. The tub leans a little toward the front of the machine. When filling/rinsin

It is common on Whirlpool models for the water to splash out the top when filling especially when sheets or nylon cloth is loaded in the washer. Air fills the cloth and balloons the garment up this caused water to bounce off the garment and splash out the back. This is the most common reason for those mysterious leaks. Lowering the water pressure coming into the washer can help prevent this.

Inner tub does not sit corrects and water is leaking bad when run

There is 6 springs? And all of them are on right? Sounds like one of the back springs came off or broke. You should be able to shake the whole thing around and it should center up. Take the top of the washer off. Remove the cover on the control panel then unplug the wire harness and pull the fill switch hose off of the switch. There is two screws holding the top on at the side panels in the front. then lift it up and slide it forward to release the back hinges. Then you should be able to see the back ones.

While my kenmore top load washer is pumping water into the tub, water is splashing from the rim of the tub and leaking behind the tub onto the floor. If before I turn the washer on I push the tub towards...

if it keeps failing into that position
then either your machine nneds to be releveled or there may be someting wrong with the suspension but with this model i would have to believe your machine is out of balance tword the front
relevel and try that.

Describe your Kenmore 24032 \ 24036 Top Load

MAke sure that the cothes are not unbalancing the tub. Iv seen this happen where the clothes are unbalancing the tub and it moving around and the when the water for the rinse is coming out its not getting in the tub its splashing on the top of the tub ring due the the unbalanced spin. does this happen when you wash a heavy load? do you notice it not doing that when you washer a light load?
