I HAVE A 50'dlp SAMSUNG TV-HL-S5087W THAT TURNS OFF

I HAVE A 50'dlp SAMSUNG TV-HL-S5087W THAT TURNS ITSELF OFF AFTER AN INDETERMINATE TIME. THIS CAN BE A FEW MINUTES OR DAYS. CAN TURN IT BACK ON & WILL BE OK UNTIL THE NEXT TIME. HAVE BLOWN IT OUT WITH CANNED AIR, REMOVED THE LAMP ASSY CHECKED IT VISUALLY, VACUUMED THE LAMP AREA - ALL SEEMED OK. SET HAS BEEN IN USE SINCE 4/07.

HL-S5087W IS WORKING RIGHT NOW, BEAUTIFUL PICTURE BUT AFTER 20 MINUTES THE PICTURE GET OUT. THE LAMP IS NEW.

I went through the same exact thing. I had to replace the DMD board. No problem after that.

Samsung HL-S5087W DLP rear projection TV keeps shut off and won't stay on longer than 30 seconds.

your bulb has reached the end of its life (at least this is what your tv thinks) you need to replace the bulb and or make the think you did. (there is a reset in the service menu for the bulb)

I have a samsung HL-S5087W it will turn off by itself I have replaced the lamp and it continues to do this I have tryed to go to the service menue mute 182 power, I see a menue but go on options but cant...

your problem is your No 2 Fan needs to be replace I have had the same thing happen to me.

Color disappears from DLP display

the problem here is the crt cicuit unplug from the wall take off the back its the cicuit board thats pushed on to the tv screen pull it off. you will see R G B its the B one thats faulty it looks like a transistor. call an engeneer and he will put a new one in for you i hope this helps you???????

Turn tv on and then it will turn itself of can immedately turn back on it is a 50 inch SamSung one year old can any one help with this problem

do a voltage check the transformer & the bridge rectifier and the whole off the power supply use a meter ther may be power starvation
