Introduce them.

Is this a genuine Dell Power supply? Has it worked in the past? Is it the correct voltage? Check the requirement on the bottom of the computer or with your operating manual and check the output printed on the power supply.

Is this a new computer? If this is the power supply you received from Dell when you purchased the computer, you may want to check with Dell for warranty adjustment. WWW.dell.com/support

That's a new one, haven't come across that before.
Is the charger same as supplied or is it new/aquired second hand.

If replacement but not same as old one, the output must be the same as old one. There are sutle minor rates, which companies build in so you/we have to purchase their equipt?

Tip. Shutdown/Remove battery for a minute or two, reinsert, reconnect power cable before turning on poota

Check to see if there is any visual lights indicating battery is being charged before switching on the poota??

Charger port


It may not be the charger or the lap top but a bad battery that refuses to be charged. Have it tested before you do anything. They only last so long.

Hi, I have a problem with ti-nspire cx cas, it doesn't charge via a usb cable.


Are you really talking about a TINspire CX or a TI NSpire. The TINspire CX (CAS or Not) comes with a rechargeable battery and an adapter/Charger. You plug the charger in an electric outlet and let it party charge. If the calculator battery fails to recharge then it must be defective. Any third party mini USB charger will recharge the battery.

The TINspire with touchpad (CAS or not) can use regular batteries or the optional rechargeable battery.
It is not necessary to connect the calculator to a computer to have it recharged.

As far as the calculator being recognized by the computer, you must install the communication software (TI computer Link Software for the older TINspire) or the TI Nspire teacher or student software for the CX. When you run the TINspire teacher or student software and then connect the calculator, you will have the opportunity to select it.

Alright so i wanted to know if i can charge my Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z700 Digital Camera without the actual charger but just plug it into my computer and it'll charger that way. i've tried this...


No. You need to plug the camera into the cradle and plug the cradle into a wall outlet. Connecting the camera to the computer merely drains the battery faster, as the camera has to spend juice communicating (or trying to communicate) with the computer, even if only to say it has nothing to say.

My computer doesn't recognize my dane-elec 8gb usb stick , although other usb devices do work.


1. Try a different USB port. If other ports recognize it, then the original port is fried. 2. Try a different computer. If the other computer does not recognize it, then your flash drive is damaged.

Hi, have a delllatiude D520 with dockinstation, everything worked fine sudently the power gets to the DS but an error message appears and says that it doesn't recognize power source, push F1 to exit,...


Check the dock connectors and clean them with a dry cloth if possible. The error message usually occurs when an unrecognized, or third party charger is used. This can also occur when the charger is loosely connected. If the problem continues even if your docking station is dell-recognized, and you have cleaned your connectors, then you need to contact dell support for further assistance. Alternatively you may ignore the message if your laptop continues to function normally (i.e. normal battery charge/discharge times and no excess heat production).

Computer does not recognize battery


I know exactly what the problem is. The problem is that the motherboard is not reconizing the charger.The motherboard will need to be replaced along with the charger. I recommend calling Dell Costomer Service. That number is 1-800-847-4096.
