you can also series 100w incandescent bulb just to test if really the
thermistor you are really having problem with, if the bulb glows bright
then it is on the load , not on the thermistor

How do you replace the fuse?

Push the black cap in and turn.

I doubt that the fuse will fix it, though. Static sounds and then shutting down is a sign that something has gone wrong in the amp. It needs servicing by a competent tech.

Where do i see the fusing unit thermistor, thermoswitch &heaterlamp

I do not know which model of copier / printer you have, but generally the fusion units are on the sides of the machines, covered with a lid that can be opened easily, can be easily identified by the labels of caution have to be very hot.
The thermistors, heater lamp and thermoswitches are components that make up the fusing unit, the lamp is in charge of heating rollers, thermistors regulate temperature and thermoswitches turn on and off according to heat in the fuser.
They can sell separately or sell the whole unit, it will depend on the suppliers and the model of your printer or copier.
Good luck ...

Water Temp on heater reads 126 degrees F

I am not sure if you have resolved this issue, or not, but just in case. Yes, the problem is the Thermistor. This is a sensor that "reads" the incoming water temp. It is really easy to replace as well.

    Com terminal on MC2205

Typically the black is common and the red positive. The only difference will be the direction in which the speaker cone moves. Either it will move outward or inward. In the correct connection polarity, the cone should move outward. Be careful that both speakers are connected the same way. This is actually just as important. If they are hooked up differently, they will be out of phase and you will notice a significant DROP in low end response.

    NEC vt460

It does in fact appear to be a thermistor and the TH1 board marking seems to confirm that.
What markings are on the component (it appears to be a power transistor of some kind) adjacent to it?

If we can find a standard part number for it and you own some kind of meter, perhaps we can either eliminate or identify it as the original culprit.

The failed thermistor is either acting as a temperature sensitive clamp to prevent lamp failure or regulates lamp intensity dependent on temperature.

Maybe an email to NEC would get you the value of it (TH1) since I suspect a schematic or parts list will be hard to acquire.
