Question about Microwave Ovens
Thanks for using FixYa. First of all please check that there are no loose wires at the door latch or the control panel. Also check the wiring harness. If still the issue persists, then you’ll need to replace the door latch assembly. Usually it's not the spring but instead the "latch head", which has a little loop on the backside to hold the spring. The loop breaks off.
The latch head is the long plastic piece with two protruding hooks which activate the hidden door switches.
