Question about Philips 28PW8608 28" TV
It is possible that in the menus there is a setup that has picture rotation. But for this model, I believe there is no rotation option. You will have to go through the menus to see if it is there. I would start in the video, or the picture setup menus. Press menu on the remote to go in to the menu. Use the arrow buttons to move through the menus.
If there is no rotation option, this means the deflection yoke has been turned or was never strait from the manufacture. Yoke rotation is not something I would advise for you do yourself. If you rotate the yoke, there is the possibility the set will require a complete re-convergence and purity setup. You will have to have the training, and the required pattern generator to perform these adjustments.
You could call an experienced TV service man, especially someone who has a lot of experience working on Sony. This type of tech should know what to do to fix your problem.
