I have a MITONE multi user MP3 player, one of the my family member software files are formatted, please tell me next solution for install the software??
My main problem is that I'm an idiot.... I can't blame any family members. I managed to format my MITONE MITMP20 MP3 player. Now it's totally dead. I need to reinstall the software, firmware...
I don't care if it ends up exactly like it was - I'd just like to have an mp3 (and mp4) player...

I got pretty excited when I got an email promising a solution. Got pretty bummed out when I realized it was just another problem - very much like my own. Oh, well. I really wish the manufacturer could step up here...

My problem is that my Mitone player (MITMP18) first began to freeze and finally failed to start and yet it was still new.
so igave it to a friend to try it out for me and he told me that the usb cable has a problem. i bought another one bt the problems has persisted.
Kindly help me cause i love it big time it is so unique and very inspiring to me. will be grateful.

my mp4 is not run when i am press m untill these word are not shown like this c to format,down to command,other to usb i am click other key to usb then i am remove the usb from pc then mp4 say software loading.

ApprenticeIf a player like this http://www.szimp3.com/product_show.asp?BigClassName=MP4&SmallClassName=MP2610 , there are several clones of the Chinese goods. Firmware on the Russian here (English supports) http://ftp.roverbook.com/RoverMedia/Aria_Q7 there two different versions of firmware for the assembly player (one can work with bugs)
Methodology firmware:
1. Disable USB cable, turn off player.
2. Holding down "M" connect the USB cable.
3. The menu select 3 - y para (other then USB disk), clicking the right analog stick.
4. The system will appear logical disk 2. First at 16 mb, second - remaining FLASH memory.
5. Copy invested in this archive 5 files on 16 - MB removable disk (all except reame.txt).
6. Turn off the player through the safe extraction devices.
Methodology firmware:

Hi I have mitmp15. It is still in working condition. I don't know how different mitmp20 is from 15. Apart from the directory structure, there is a hidden file in the root... which I can provide (mail me at - s h i b u n AT s o n i m t e c h .com )...... See if it helps you guys...

The file is named "settings.dat" and is a binary file.

I have the exact same player. At first it would only play the first 180 songs even though it had over 300 stored. then all of a sudden it would switch off when certain songs were selected. The picture viewer never worked, neither did the text reader or the video player. Itried to format it but it only made it worse. Now it won't even turn on. If anyone has any idea on where the firmware can be downloaded, please let me know. Otherwise the address of the manufacturer, I'd really like to sue them for selling fake merchandise.
