Did you try to unassembled the microphone?
Get the top section off, and then take it apart to separate the transducer. Some of these models are a task in themselves to take apart and reassemble.
Once you are left with the screens, these could be washed with water and dried off. Then you simply re-assemble again.

How do I clean microphones grill tocut out the bad breath from the tip of head grill?

I always unscrew the grill and put it in the dishwasher.
Other option is to unscrew it and clean it wit a toothbrush.
In both cases without the foam, you can replace it later.
For me it was a way to get the lipstick of the grill.

Can i soak my sm58 mic grill in lukewarm water to clean it??

Yes, you can. Also, ad about a capful of bleach to the water to kill any bacteria as well. Be sure to rinse thoroughly, and let dry completely.

Hope that helps!

Try turning off the phantom power required to use for the v67. Check connections on the 58 by removing the connector where the xlr connects, and making sure that's looks good. hope this helps.

I have a shure sm58 wireless microphone when i switch it on everything seems normal but i dont have sound coming out of the receiver... after the troubleshoot i made i learned that the problem is the mic...

Unfortunately the sm58 capsule is very hard to get apart without damaging the contact surface.

You would have to take the contact side apart 1rst
bend all the little tabs away which hold the brass plated disk in place
then its a matter of edging the disk out....CAREFULL any scratch is bad!
Once you have the disk out you will need a 1/4" socket to remove the shaft bolt,
unsolder the green and yellow wires taking note where they were soldered.
Then the element can be pulled out.
What to after that, I'll let that up to you.
Be wary, you will void warranty.

Hi danny

There not that much to take apart on the sm58. On page 2 of the user manual there is a wiring diagram to reconnect wires. the grill wind filter part screws on. The socket on the bottom is secured with a screw.
