Cleaning the filter / wash cycle not running properly

Hi, I opened up the covering at the bottom rithg hand corner of the machine to clean out the filter. Apart from some water there was really nothing in there. I ahve had the machine for 2 years and it seems strange that there was nothing to clean out. The nachine has stopped working properly now - it fills and starts the cycle but never drains or rinses or spins unless I set it manually to do so. My questions are (1) will cleaning the filter fix this and (2) how do I clean the filter?
Thanks in advance.

You need to put the machine on its front and look under it and you will see a black rubber it gos to the pump and to the drum well the drum one has to come undone with a flat head screw driver and if that's clean then put it back properly when you have done that and you have cleaned the pump out if the machine still done work then your pump has gone you will get one from ebay don't for get to wright down your model number ok good luck

After washes it displays check detergent. some washes are also not spinning properly and cloths are still quite wet. Can you help I have a miele gala grande w 3000

Hi dear.
Basically you can check fluff filter otherwise you may need to have a technical assist. Fluff filter located on front LHS bottom corner of your machine.. Open plastic cover. Place small bowl under fluff filter area to collect about 2 Lt of water. Slowly turn fluff filter anticlockwise to let it drain remaining water in there.. Then remove it and check for blockage. ( Step by step You can get full instruction from your machine's user manual on cleaning and care section.) If that does not solve the issue you may call Miele to assist you or local repairer. I hope that helps.Thanks.

Your drain system is clogged with debris. Remove the filter from the bottom left door and look straight back inside the drain system, you will see more debris inside. Do not use a sharp object to remove the debris or you will puncture the rubber bellows. From the back of the machine, remove the back cover. At the bottom of the tub you will find a rubber drain hose that leads from the bottom the tank to the drain filter. Using your hand, gently squeeze the rubber drain hose to "massage" the leftover debris inside. This should help clean out the debris. WARNING: This will cause a major rush of water to come out so be prepared. Good luck

Water will not drain away

ensure the filter in the bottom of the machine is clear.

remove the water my hand using a sponge, to remove any opening to ensure
the pump can rotate. (see user manual)

replace and run the rince cycle to see if this has cleared it.

once resolved give the machine a good wash with a cleaning agent
you can place it in and run the machine one time empty.

I hope this was useful.

I would start by checking the filter and cleaning it, this is usually located at the bottom right front of washer behind a flap or cover, unscrew an ti-clockwise to remove and clean.

Won't spin out at end of wash cycle code is OE

Please clean the filter.
Filter is behind the little door located on the front left corner of the unit.

Please read the owners manual for proper cleaning.

If filter is clean the drain pump may have failed.

How do I open the filter on a hotpoint aquarius WF 321 1200 spin washing machine?

there should be a hatch on the front at the bottom right hand corner! open the hatch and you should see something that looks like a dial turn this anti clockwise. if it does not turn you will have to apply pressure. this could possibly break the componant! don't worry this often happens they are easily replaced from your local domestic appliance repair centre

Bosch WFL 2860 Stops Part Way through Its Cycle

When a machine stops during its rinse period, it is normally a block in your outlet filter. And you say it has not been maintained in any way for 5 years; at least you shd be doing the minimum maintainance like clearing your outlet filter.

Front bottom right, is where access to the filter normally is; get to it and clean out, plug off the wall first. The large plastic is to be turned anti-clockwise to remove, refit carefully after cleaning.
