My radio powers off every few minutes. Needs to be turned back on by the on-off switch. How can I stop it from turning off automaticly?

When you press the Power/Sleep button the radio turns on and displays a number 90, or some other numbers. This is the play time that the radio will stay on then turns itself off. It could be that yours is configured with a sleep timer set to 01 minute, 10 or 15. You need to set the timer for a longer period. Thus we turn it on by pressing the Power/Sleep button, read the timer length then press again. Keep making short presses: The timer will cycle through all preset sleep timer durations. Select the length you want.

SONY HDTV-LCD MODEL - KDF-42WE655 turns itself off. Lamp light indicator flashes red. Should I attempt to reset ? It is approx. 4 years old

I'd wager that somewhere in the menu settings, there is a "Sleep Timer". Check the menu for the sleep timer, which turns off the TV after a set length of time. Also, check your remote, there might be a "Sleep" button that would do the same thing, press it multiple times until it reads "Sleep: Off" or something similar.

Press the [SLEEP TIMER] key and set the SLEEP TIMER for "0" MIN. While the
SLEEP TIMER information is still on screen, press the [DISPLAY] key and [VIDEO

MENU.

Exit the service menu by twice pressing the [EXIT] key on the remote.

A blue box pops up on my screen and I can't get rid of it

i can't see the box, why not post photo, be like 2nd ever to do that here.
the menu button unlocks per the manual,
push said LCD menu button for 10seconds and it unlocks.
the lock is to keep kids from messing up your LCD controls
if you see sleep timing in the LCD turn that off, or pain happens.

the LCD OSD menu is called that OSD, on screen display.
lost the manuaL>?
is the unstated PC turned on, if not the LCD will complain.
NO signal, no sync, out of range, etc.
