Question about Angelcare Deluxe Movement Sensor & Sound Baby Monitor
Hello. Thanks for choosing Fixya! As a grandparent, I would love to fully resolve your issue right here and now. The problem I have run into is that this company, Angelcare, unlike the vast majority of companies, does not make their manuals available on line or through their company website. Therefore, the best I can do is to give you a more generic answer, which I hope will solve your problem.
If your unit runs on batteries, clean all of the battery terminals in the unit with the eraser end of a common pencil. Also use fresh, new batteries. If your unit uses an adapter, take the unit and the adapter to a Radio Shack store and ask them to test the adapter for you. Do the same things with the child unit. Hopefully, this will solve your problem and you will be all set. On the other hand, if it still does not work, you may no choice but to replace it. If that is the case, I do not recommend the Angelcare products for the very reasons stated above. Enjoy you little one. Best regards, Joe.

Try resetting the system.
This is done removing the batteries from all the handset and from sensor unit.
Put back batteries and see if the handsets are syncing together , and detecting the sensor unit.
If not, then there may be a fault, in that case better to call the manufacturer at the support number listed on the instructions.

Had same problem - here's what worked for AC401 (from manual):
CONNECTING THE PARENTS UNIT TO THE NURSERY UNIT: If you lose the connection between the 2 units,turn them both off. Turn ON the parents unit and press and hold the MENU button ,the "out of range"indicator will flash and you will hear a beep.Turn ON the nursery unit and press and hold the top button of the nursery unit to reconnect. The Tic light flashes.This normally happens within a few seconds and you will hear a bleep to confirm it. If successful, the parents unit display will first show the channel of transmission (C1 to C8), which will be replaced by the room temperature and icons for all activated functions.

turn on the parent unit.
hold menu for 5 secs until it beeps.
turn on the nursery unit.
press and hold the little round blue light at the top for about 5 second until it beeps.
the parent unit waits for the signal then pairs.
