Question about Frigidaire GLHS36EESB Side by Side Refrigerator
I have a new Frigidaire refrigerator (model GLHS36EESB0) but temp control is not work. I'd like to buy this part. Is it easy to repalce the part? (Service cost 3 times more than part).
If you are referring to the thermostat or cold control, then its just 2 wires, a ground connection or wire (the green one) and a capillary tube, otherwise known as the temperature probe. The most difficult thing is removing the control panels and covers on the inside of the fridge without breaking anything. If the existing probe has a plastic liner on the length of it, and the new one doesn't come with one, then its a bit of a **** sliding the old one off and onto the new one. If its to much trouble doing that, install without the cover on the probe. I've left it off without any negative results.
